The NET Data Corporation was established by David Graves
on June 1, 1983 with two customers, Hopkins County Tax
office and Hopkins County Appraisal District. A programmer
by trade, David originally programmed many of the applications
we use today. Financial Management, Records Indexing,
Voter Registration, and Property Tax Billing and Collection
were the first of the 16 software applications that
are currently in use.
David Graves laid the foundation on what NET Data is
based on: Quality Product. Quality Customer
Service.
In 1984, NET Data started to grow and other software
applications were developed by David, including Voter
Registration and Jury Selection applications. Although
NET Data had several software applications available
it wasn't until 1987 that the company became a recognized
competitor and contender in the County Government software
industry.
Tory Humphries, President, joined the NET Data team
as an East Texas Marketing Representative in 1991. Adding
numerous customers to NET Data’s customer base,
he put NET Data on the map in the East Texas area. In
the fall of 1997, he accepted the role of President.
Since that time, Tory has implemented new strategies
to provide exemplary customer service and to provide
the latest cutting edge technology to customers. Exceeding
customers’ expectations in every way every day
is still a top priority in his business plan.
Scott Stahl accepted the role as Vice President in
1985. Another programmer by trade, he developed the
Motor Vehicle, Law Enforcement, Hot Check, Parks and
Wildlife software applications as well as enhanced other
existing applications such as the Justice of the Peace
application. He has been a part of the NET Data team
almost from the beginning and has strived to stay ahead
of the software technology game producing applications
that work more efficiently to serve customers better
and save taxpayers money.
