Jury Selection

Fair and impartial selection of prospective jurors has not always been an easy task. Now it can be. With the Jury Selection software application from NET Data, juror selection becomes a faster more effective process. Offices that have access to the jury list will have a security access code. This access or court code secures access to jury information. Personnel in those offices with access to jury information can select a new jury, access information within the jury wheel, cancel jury lists, assign panels, and shuffle jury lists. The user also has the ability to research past jury selections.

It has advanced tracking, printing, and sorting features as well as the unique design to be fully integrated with the Financial Management software application. Calculating the juror's pay and posting it to the check register is not a difficult task with the Jury Selection system. Once the juror's information has been entered, you can calculate the jury pay and generate a check register and a jury check. The amount paid to each jury along with the check number, date paid and general ledger account number will be stored on the juror's record for future reference.

  • System is fully integrated with the Voter Registration software application
  • Jurors are shuffled electronically
  • Allows users to reconstitute the jury wheel pertaining to the county's reconstituting plan
  • Automatically assigns jury panel

Users can produce many of the reports by referencing the juror list by name, juror number order, juror shuffle order, or by excused or exempted jurors. Other reports that can be produced using the Jury Selection software application include a list of jurors that have already served, list of jurors that are absent, jury list labels for jury checks, and a jury wheel listing.
